The dependence of the deflection value of an externally statically determinate truss with a cross-shaped lattice on the number of panels

Аннотация

The induction method, based on the generalization of a number of solutions for trusses with a consecutively increasing number of panels, yields a compact formula for deflection. The Mohr’s integral and the method of cutting nodes are used. The rods of the structure have the same rigidity, the supports are not deformed. All the transformations and the solution of the system of equations of node equilibrium are fulfilled in the Maple system.
